What I'm Watchin, What I'm Playin, What I'm Listening To.
We'll start with what I've been watchin.
So, I think I've seen the original Battlestar:Galactica movie, but it was a long time ago. I heard some good things about the Sci-Fi's channels new Battlestar TV show, so I decided to check it out. I've watched the two part premiere, and the first few episodes of season 1; and dam its a good show. I usually am not crazy about shows on the sci-fi channel, bad acting, bad graphics....They tend to come off as pretty cheesy. But I think the acting in this show is great, the graphics aren't bad, I love the story. If you haven't seen this show, and you like sci-fi, check it out.
What have I been playin? I had a hankerin to play some Heroes of M&M IV, but I don't have the CD with me at school. Now, I never bothered to try Heroes V, I know it didn't get good reviews, but I decided to check it out. I was pleasantly surprised, I'm enjoying it quite a bit. Its basically the same as Heroes IV, but with much better graphics. I am also still playing some Titan Quest.
There are of course some other exciting releases coming up for us PC gamers.

Besides games & TV..music and pod casts consume a good chunk of my time. Based on Andys K recommendation I checked out the geekdrome podcast, I'm enjoying that quite a bit. Also still listening to the PC gamer pod cast.
Music. Two Gallants still reign supreme as my favorite band ever. However, someone recently turned me on to The Black Keys, a blues rock group, they are also quite good.

Awesome.
BSG is a great series, I'm glad you're getting into it. From what I hear season 3 is going to be very very dark and depressing.. I think everyone's looking forward to it, it's going to fucking ROCK!
BSG is the best sci-fi on TV right now. Speaking of sci-fi, have you ever checked out Firefly? I seem to remember you liking Buffy the Vampire Slayer so you might like Firefly. It was written by the same guy who did Buffy.
So HHMM4 is good? I played the demo and it seemed cool, I just haven't made the dive yet... maybe I will.
I'm really glad to hear you're enjoying geekdrome and the pcgamer podcast. They are both very informative. I like the PCgamer podcast a lot because they actually do some real journalism which always impresses me. Sometimes they'll call people up to investigate bogus game studies and it's really cool. Geekdrome is just fun. period. and I hope it gets you into reading even more comics and checking out strange films. I know it has for me.

I think I may have seen an episode of firefly and wasen't crazy about it, but maybe I'll give it another try. I am very much enjoying BSG through.

We have an actual release date for Hellgate? w00t indeed! Damn, I'm still looking forward to that.
And yes, definitely with the BSG. Watch as much as you can before the new season starts, it's a great show on its own but so much of it builds upon previous episodes and character conflicts and such.
Also, webisodes! Little shorts they're using to fill in a little before season 3, on SciFi.com. The second one goes up today.

BSG is, as expected, owning all. Ep. 4 of this season (3) was simply put, The Best Episode of Battlestar Galactica I Have Ever Seen. Simply amazing. Another show that I had heard about, forgotten, and thanks to Andy remembered again, is Heroes on NBC. Four eps. in and I am lovin' it. It's so gritty! People with random powers murdering people owns.
Heroes IV? The suck. Tried to play that multiple times and hated it more each time. Heroes V? Couldn't run it. <3 Heroes III.
