Its Always Sunny In Philidelphia

So, I just finished watching the premier of the new comedy, "Its Always Sunny In Philaldelphia", starring Danny DeVito. The show follows the exploits of a wealthy family in Philaldelphia, ala. Arrested Development. The comedy is not nearly so witty as the Ron Howard classic, but the jokes are just as insensitive; no one is trying to be politically correct on this one. I found myself laughing out loud more than once during the two hour premier, unusual indeed. Will it fill the vast black void left in my heart when Arrested Development was canceled? No way. The main reason that show was so great is because the comedy was so intelligent, and subtle; unfortunately this is also the main reason the show was canceled; despite rave reviews and a fanatic fan base, the moronic masses could not grasp the witty comedy. The show aires on FX, thursday at 10PM/9PMCST, I suggest you tune in next week.

PS. It doesn't hurt that this familys last name happens to be......REYNOLDS. Dam Straight.

  • Sweet dude, I might have to check out Arrested Development.

    As far as comedy's go I'm really into the Office. (both US and UK) The humor is awkward and uncomfortable and it makes me laugh my ass off.

    But since you bring up Arrested Development, I think I'm gonna have to give it a try.

    You should check out Arrested Development, it is the funniest show i've ever seen.

  • I watched last season's Philadelphia. I fkn loved that show. They also have a new season of Rescue Me, which was awesome last season. Apparently they didn't bring back Starved... or maybe it'll be back later, but last season that show was hilarious. A comedy about eating disorders... who would have thought.
